Medallion Accordion Cat Tutorial

Accordion fold medallion

Easy project for kids of all ages to make. To make medallions of various sizes just cut your paper strips wider or narrower then accordion fold it to create pleats.  Finished medallion is 3".

Tools and Materials:

Hot glue gun
My card stock strips are 1 ½” X 11”.  Score every ½” then accordion fold, use double sided tape on both ends of one strip.  Attach second strip and then use hot glue gun hold in place until set.
Ears are 1 1/4" X 2 oval punch trimmed.
Tan part of eyes are a 1 ½” circle punch trimmed in half
Yellow eye part is a 1" circle punch cut in half
Nose is a small star punch trimmed.
Wiskers are made from a strip of tan card stock trimming thin strips of the paper
Mouth is  from a 2" round punch just punching the edge of the card stock
