Mothers Day Flower Cart

Greetings everyone,
A big thank you to all my followers, I really appreciate everyone who leaves comments and those that are using Pinterest to pin my projects.

I thought this might be a fun Mother's Day card or just a Spring design.

For today's card I started out die cutting two Grand Flower Box pieces and trimming the ends off and shortening on side to create the cart.  Then I filled it with a strip of grass which I realize you really can't see.  I added the Brighton Flowers, Tulips and some pinched little red circle buds.  Next I die cut two Vintage Bicycles and trimmed off everything so I only had the wheels and attached one in front and the other behind the cart.  I filled three pots with more flowers and then took the Spellbinders circle piece an trimmed it slightly less than half then added the Martha Stewart Doily Lace for the trim.  I used only the handle of the Petite Umbrella and attached the umbrella to the back of the flowers.

Materials:
Poppy Stamps Grand Flower Box, Brighton Flower Border, Tulip Fanfare & Dianna Border
Memory Box Vintage Bicycle, Garden Pots & Petite Umbrella
Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large ( 3¼″ die size)
Martha Stewart Doily Lace & Grass punch

PS for those who might be interested here is the finished wood floor in my craft room. Please ignore the hideous wall color (purple) it came with the house when we bought it.  Painting the walls will have to wait until next year.

  13. Hi Diane, you've been busy since I my last visit - both the floor and the cards! You've got a real way with the dies, and your cards are gorgeous.

But I must admit I'm envious of your craft space - I'd love even just half that area and I love the floor!!

  14. This is just so clever - the way you used the window box dies & the bike wheels to create this adorable flower cart. Loved the lacey trim on the umbrella too! Just as cute as can be. You have an eye for using these great MB dies to their utmost and in ways that are not obvious to me! Love this! TFS & Hugs (ps...also liking your craft area. You can see your pretty new floors. Mine are covered with stamp mess :-)
