The Colors of Fall

I know you are all thinking WHAT a Fall design, it has rained here the past few days so I am  pretending it is a nice Fall day, you might have noticed I skipped over Spring here in the Northwest because it tends to rain on and off until July..

Greetings to all my new and continual blog followers and friends. I really have to say if any of you own the Impression Obsession small Maple leaf dies they have a beautiful detail when you die cut them

Well I have really gone out of my comfort zone to create this design.  First I sponged a light blue ink on white cardstock to create a fun background design.  I also sponged the edges of the clouds using  a different shade of blue .  Even though the picture does not show it I sponged a gold color on the wheelbarrow which makes it look antique.

Materials:
Memory Box - Alder Tree & Puffy Clouds
Poppystamps-  Massa Leaf Background
Impression Obsession - Wheat stock, small Maple Leaves & Wheelbarrow
Martha Stewart Daisy punch
Small daisy punch
Blue Ink for Clouds

  7. Wow!! This is amazing! I love this and your colors are spot on for fall. I think I am ready for fall now after seeing your card. ;) Fall is my favorite season and I can just feel and hear the leaves crunching under my feet, smell the wood burning, taste fresh picked apples ... *sigh* Too bad I have to wait 5/6 months for fall to actually get here!!

  17. Hi Diane~your sweet comment on my blog brought me over to thank you (THANK YOU!), and what a treat to find your amazing fall card! We're still in the midst of winter here (enough, enough and enough with the snow), so seeing something with flowers and leaves makes me super happy (and of course, the maple leaf makes me smile, as I'm Canadian) Gorgeous card!!

You are so creative to be able to put these different die cuts together and make so many lovely cards. I have wanted to do this but I guess I just can't put all the elements together - Yet! I am following you now and maybe I will be inspired! Wishing you a wonderful day!
